OUR GOAL IS TO MAKE CAMP AFFORDABLE FOR EVERYONE
At 6 Points West, we recognize the lifelong benefits of Jewish camp for children and their families. We also know that quality camping experiences can seem expensive for some, and we try, to the best of our abilities, to ensure that every camper who wants to find their summer home at 6 Points West can afford to.
If you have questions about making camp affordable for your family, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Step 1: Register for Camp
The application will be available in the Fall of 2021 and will be available online for families who are already registered via their CampInTouch account. In order to be considered for financial aid, families must be registered for camp.
Step 2: Determine what you can Afford
Determine what you are able to pay. All families are expected to contribute to the cost of camp.
Step 3: Apply to the One Happy Camper Program For First time campers
Apply for the One Happy Camper incentive grant if your child is a first-time camper. More Info Below.
Step 4: APPLY TO ALL AVAILABLE LOCAL COMMUNITY SOURCES
Did you know that most congregations have scholarship and discretionary funds available to help send children to 6 Points West Specialty Camps? Contact your Rabbi, Cantor, Educator, and/or Congregational President. They will inform you of the congregation’s application requirements.
For your convenience you are welcome to download our Synagogue Participation Form to submit to your congregation.
Many community-based Jewish organizations also have camp scholarship programs. Contact your local or regional Jewish Federation, or other Jewish family-servicing organization to find out about availability.
Or see if you qualify for the Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ)- First-Time Scholarship For Girls Grant. More information below.
Step 5: Reach out to your family and friends
Ask family and friends. Grandparents are an especially great resource, and understand the importance of Jewish camp! Transformative camp experiences benefit the entire family.
Step 6: Submit your 6 Points West need-based scholarship application
Complete our 6 Points West need-based scholarship application. Your application must be complete with the most recent tax returns available in order to be reviewed by our committee. To assist you with preparing your financial aid application, download the Financial Aid Information Packet.
You can access the application here: 6 Points West need-based Scholarship Application
You should complete these forms with as much detail as possible. If you do not receive the scholarship and financial aid you are applying for, there is a supplementary financial aid application that you can complete to apply for additional aid once you’ve heard back from all funding sources.
If you have questions about financial aid, please contact Jordanna Flores, Camp Director, at jflores@urj.org or by phone at 424.387.3544.
We also offer special discounts and Scholorships. Check below to see if any of these offers apply.
